To sleep in a unique setting, have a meal between two ski descents, take a break during a hike or organize an event, the hostel-restaurant Chez Gaby, welcomes its guests in a beautiful setting. Stella and Philippe, new owners of the establishment, have done work to make even more warm and greedy this address installed in the heart of Val d'Illiez.
Offering delicacies or quick snacks for busy sportspeople, opening a chocolate factory, organizing weddings and other parties, welcoming guests to tastefully decorated rooms... projects are taking place. Passionate, they want above all to make this address a place that rhymes with family atmosphere, friendliness and love of work well done.

A table for all tastes
Conscious that the expectations of the customers are different according to the seasons, the catering offer is adapted. In winter, as skiers hit the slopes, they can stop for lunch. A special card is offered with fast food. In the evening, things are different. The dishes are more elaborate and you can enjoy them in a typical decor that pays tribute to the old wood and an impressive collection of more than 190 bells! In any case, local products are honored. Charcuterie, breads, fruits and vegetables, cheeses are all from the soil and worked with love and respect. The craft here holds all its promises. The same goes for the summer. Another peculiarity of the place, the emphasis on pastries where the proposals are all more tempting than the others and in all seasons. Indoor or outdoor on the terrace with panoramic views of the Dents du Midi, all reasons are good to take a break Chez Gaby!
Hostel
Sleep in an idyllic setting
The chalet located in the heart of the Portes du Soleil ski slopes in Switzerland allows you to spend several nights in a mountain spirit. At Gaby 1670 you can put your skis at the foot of the inn. 29 beds are available for guests, some rooms have their own shower. A big cozy stay, reserved for the customers of the inn, is at your disposal. You can relax, read, play. The pastry chef and his team will be happy to prepare a breakfast buffet with homemade and local products. The chef and his team offer a menu or half-board dinner.
In a hostel spirit, we offer several double, triple or family rooms. A baby cot is available for free. All our rooms are equipped with washbasin and hair dryer as well as sheets and towels. Some have a private shower, others have shared showers, they are all equipped with body and hair products. The toilets are all in common. You will find at the entrance of the hostel a ski room and a second heated room reserved for your shoes.

Warm and welcoming, Stella and Philippe invite you to come and try your hand at ax throwing on the unique ALP'H plateau, with family or friends. And why not an original after-ski in the heart of DZY BAAARRR. You will find a selection of over 20 beers and many other homemade beverages such as mulled wine, hot beer ...
In any season, they amaze with The Smokeur which delights meat lovers with its concept where each piece is smoked which in the end offers an incomparable tenderness and taste!
In winter, the GabyMobile meets you in the heart of the village of Champoussin to take you to dinner at the restaurant Chez Gaby 1670.
In summer, children can have fun in the large play park that is available to them, while morning and evening, everyone can meet the marmots that live in the heart of an adjoining park.
Philippe produces in his workshop the now legendary Marie-Jo la Marmotte as well as identical reproductions of the surrounding peaks in milk and dark chocolate such as Les Dents du Midi, which definitely make Chez Gaby a must!
